Pleated

Pleated curtains feature fixed, even folds at the top for an elegant, layered look. Easily opened and closed with hooks or rings, they’re ideal for formal, sophisticated spaces where curtains are frequently adjusted.

Overview:

  • Pleats are stitched at the center to create a symmetrical, compact design. This style enhances the curtain’s dimension and texture, adding a refined and elegant appearance.

Specifications:

  • Pleats: spacing 4 3/4 – 5 1/2 inches; pleat depth approx. 1 3/16 inches; standard fullness ratio 2.2×-2.5x.

Understanding Pleated Header Styles

  • Tailor Pleat
    Stitched at the top with a wider opening below.
    Offers a crisp, elongated look—clean, modern, and visually lifted.

  • Pinch Pleat
    Stitched at the center of each pleat, creating a tighter, more structured look.
    Classic, symmetrical, and formal with strong definition.

  • French Pleat
    Stitched at the bottom, allowing the top to fan open like an elegant bloom.
    Softer, more decorative, and ideal for adding graceful dimension.

Ripple Fold

Ripple fold curtains create smooth, evenly spaced waves for a sleek, modern look and effortless glide.

Overview:

  • Ripple Fold curtains form smooth, evenly spaced waves that glide effortlessly along the track, offering a sleek, modern look that enhances the fabric’s natural drape.

Specifications:

  • Runner Length: 1 1/8" — vertical length of each hook (top to bottom).
  • Runner Spacing: 4 3/8" — distance between one hook and the next (center to center).
  • Track to Carrier Drop: 1 3/8" — vertical distance from the top of the track to the bottom of the carrier (roller hook).

  • Suitable for traverse rods with ripple fold gliders and ripple fold tracks.
  • Standard fullness ratio: 2.2x.

Grommet

Grommet curtains feature metal rings at the top for a natural, elegant drape. The rings ensure easy installation and reduce friction, enhancing durability.

Specifications:

  • Grommet size: Inner diameter: 1 5/8 inches; Outer diameter: 2 13/16 inches; Ring width: 9/16 inches.
  • Side hem: 1 3/16 inches; Bottom hem: 3 5/32 inches.
  • Recommendation: Use an even number of grommets for balanced folds.

  • Not compatible with curtain tracks; no hooks or rings needed.
  • Standard fullness ratio: 2.2x.

Soft Top

With no grommets, hooks, or structured pleats, Soft Top curtains offer a natural, relaxed drape. Their smooth, gentle waves are perfect for creating a casual, modern look.

Overview:

  • Rod Pocket curtains feature a hidden pocket design, requiring no extra sliding parts. Easy to install but not ideal for frequent use, they create soft, irregular folds that add a decorative touch.

Specifications:

  • Pocket diameter: 3 5/32 inches, fits rods under 1 inch. Custom sizes available upon request.

Additional Information:

  • Suitable for curtain rods, not compatible with tracks.
  • Not recommended for frequent use or for thicker, longer curtains.
  • Standard fullness ratio: 2.2x.
