Materials: Linen, cotton, and polyester fabrics designed for a durable yet soft finish.

Weight: 316–390 GSM, heavyweight fabrics that easily support the cord loop system.

Depth Requirement: For inside mount, a minimum of 2" depth is required. For outside mount, no minimum frame depth is needed.

Headrail: Headrail included — approximately 2¾" wide, with a built-in 6" valance.

Key Feature: Effortless lifting and perfectly even folds with a fixed-length cord loop.

Size Tolerance:
Length: May vary by up to ±1/2" as the fabric naturally settles after installation.
Width: Minor variations (up to ±1/4") may occur due to handcrafted headrail construction, and the finished fabric may be slightly wider (up to 3/8") for better light coverage.

Dusting: Use a feather duster or gentle air blower to remove dust. Avoid vacuuming.

Ventilation: Keep your Roman shade in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent mold and warping.

Spot Cleaning: If needed, gently blot the fabric with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge dampened with lukewarm water. Allow the shade to dry fully in a lowered position.

Folding: To keep pleats crisp, raise Roman shades smoothly and evenly. For cordless shades, lift evenly from the bottom rail using both hands.

Sizing Guide

For linen materials, we recommend selecting two separate Roman shades for window widths over 78 inches. This ensures optimal functionality and longevity, as wider shades may become too heavy to maintain proper support.

  • Measure the inside width and height of your window frame.
  • Appearance:Sleek, built-in style that complements drapery for added layers.
  • Depth: Window frame depth needs to be at least 2 inches.
  • Light Blocking: May have slight gaps along the window frame.
  • Adjustment: Please manually deduct 3/8 inch for smooth operation.

Outside Mount

  • Measure the outside width and height of your window frame, adding extra height above if desired.
  • Appearance: Refined, framing the window with a clean, modern look.
  • Depth: No minimum window frame depth requirement.
  • Light Blocking: Provides more coverage for maximum light-blocking.
  • Recommendation: Add 2-4 inches to the width for better light blocking.

Can I manually operate the curtains during a power outage?

No. The motorized shades cannot be operated manually in the event of a power outage or when the power is off.
Do I need to subtract 3/8 inch when ordering inside mount Roman shades?

Yes. If your window casing width is 50", you should order width 49-5/8".(deduct 3/8 inch by yourself)
What is the minimum window depth required for inside mount Roman shades?

For an inside mount, the window depth should be at least 2.5 inches to accommodate linen Roman shades properly. If the depth is less than this, consider an outside mount for a better fit.
Do cordless shades last as long as corded ones?

Yes, when properly maintained, cordless shades are just as durable as traditional corded shades. Their simple mechanism reduces wear and tear, making them a long-lasting and low-maintenance option for everyday use.
