Design Process and Collaboration with Cozyology
Design Philosophy:
My philosophy is grounded in intention, accessibility, and longevity. Before adding something to my home, I ask whether I will still love it years from now.
I favor authentic texture, useful structure, and calm neutral layers over short-lived trends.
The result is a home that feels personal because it has been built over time, with each decision supporting the way my family actually lives.
The partnership evolved organically across spaces. Bedrooms feature custom Lena Linen drapery in Desert Khaki, versatile enough to move between primary and guest rooms. For living and dining areas, airy Liam Linen drapery in Soft Beige is layered with motorized Foggy Cream Roman shades. Finally, a Misty Taupe relaxed Roman shade brings subtle elegance to the laundry room.
Challenges Overcome with Cozyology
Our partnership showed that function and atmosphere do not have to compete. Custom sizing and fuller panels gave our bedroom drapery a polished, high-end presence; unlined linen curtains warmed our shared living space without making it heavy; motorization made changing daylight easy; and a single relaxed shade gave my laundry-room plan a clear visual anchor.
These choices supported my belief that small, carefully selected upgrades can make the greatest difference.

Custom Lena Linen tailor-pleated drapery in Light Brown creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Memory shaping, privacy lining, and generous custom width give the panels a fuller, tailored silhouette while demonstrating how a well-chosen treatment can move successfully between rooms as our home evolves.
Laundry Room
The Misty Taupe relaxed Roman shade is more than a finishing touch; it is the inspiration for the room's future makeover. Starting with its color, texture, and soft silhouette gives this functional space a cohesive direction from the outset.
